Edge Gilding Gilding the edges of books is mainly used in edition binding. After the books are placed in the gilding machine, the edges are prepared for gilding.A sheet of gold foil is placed over the edges, and heat and pressure are applied by heated silicone rubber rollers. Large numbers of books are edge gilded in this manner, particularly in the bible or calendar publishing business. |

Corner Gilding We also offer a special form of gilding, known as corner gilding. In this process the corners of the books are rounded and then gilded. Normally we are using gold foil for the gilding process, but we are also able to use silver foil. It is also possible to make Round Corner without any type of foil. |
